The Blue Blog

Hello!  I am Katie Rae Lowden, a junior at Michigan State University, and I created this blog as part of a project for a teacher education class.  I am looking forward to a career as an educator at the secondary level, and my areas of study are social sciences and English.  My favorite subjects are geography, world cultures and world literature.

In my spare moments I like to run and swim, and I have just started learning tae kwon do, the exciting art of kicking and punching!  I also enjoy reading (of course!), movies, classic rock, and building houses with Habitat for Humanity.  I am a Resident Mentor in Mason Hall, so I like to spend time with the ladies on my floor as well!
